Confidentiality Agreement / Non Disclosure Agreement
A presentation of the invention to third parties prior to the filing of the patent can be made only if a confidentiality agreement (Non Disclosure Agreement) is signed before the discussion.
This contract preserves the intellectual property rights to the invention disclosed to a company or another institution. Without this document, the person to whom the invention is disclosed is free to use it as he wishes. The invention is henceforth considered public information and is therefore no longer patentable.
