Commercialise the invention

Once an invention is protected by a patent, there are several possibilities to commercialise it.

In many cases PACTT identifies suitable industrial partners and negotiates a licence agreement for the development of the invention. These may be exclusive licences or be limited to certain geographic areas or fields of use.

In case the inventor would like to develop and commercialise the invention himself, the technology transfer office provides advice about the business aspects of an invention and about the creation of a start-up company.
