The University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) are committed to fundamental, clinical and translational research in partnership with numerous academic institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
The University of Lausanne is composed of seven faculties and around 500 professors, focused on several academic disciplines and active in research. The Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) includes medical doctors in clinical sciences and fundamental scientists from UNIL and CHUV.
